For a pretty long time I've had artist block...even with that small project I wanted to do that I mentioned. I miss drawing at least a few pictures a week. I used to draw so much in high school it seems and now I don't much even though I love drawing. I do work but the days I am off, it seems I can't draw anything.. I used to play computer games a lot but its been a week or more since i've touched the game and I've been watching anime lately (which I can't remember the last time i watched it, been watching Bleach with the hubby). I want to do artwork, I want to do artwork that can catch people's attention, artwork that can cause a second glance or more at it. I want to do a lot of art work and have it ready for next year's Acen to sell...but is my artwork worthy of being bought as prints? Maybe a few pieces....thats it. >.< GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
*sighs* I told the hubby what would happen if I just gave up on art... *smiles* He looked at me and told me he will never let me give up on it since its my passion. He says I have my own coloring style but at times i can't see it, you know?... Anyone got any ideas on how to get out of this artist block? I want to become better, I've set goals to try and make myself draw but its like its not enough!!!
I need to do artwork that can be bought or cause people to ask for commissions, we are having money problems since we now have a truck (truck payments and gas), car insurance, and other things...His last check was butchered so there is no gas money. He works harder then me cause he gets more hours. My shifts are longer but i can go 3-4 days without work since they schedule weirdly. We need another income, especially if we ever move out, I just don't think my art can be it even though I want it to be. Freaken truck eats up gas so quickly...lol.
